The questions worth asking before you sign anything, including the ones about leaving.
-
Who owns the website?
Your domain is yours from day one, registered in your name and billed at cost. While you're subscribed, the site itself is mine, licensed to you. That's what makes the low setup fee possible. If you ever leave, you can buy the site outright for about the cost of a new build, around $1,000, and take it to any hosting you want. Content you gave me was always yours.
-
What if I cancel?
After the six-month minimum, you can leave any month. You choose: buy the site and I hand everything over with a written record of what went where, or walk away clean. No exit fees, no surprise invoices, no dead site held hostage.
-
Why a six-month minimum?
Because local SEO doesn't move in two weeks, and I'd rather turn away a client than take money for a timeline I know can't show results. Six months is enough to see the trend line honestly.
-
What does the $500 setup cover?
A five-page site, your Google Business Profile set up or corrected, a citation audit, and the ranking baseline everything gets measured against. Need more than five pages? $200 per page, quoted up front.
-
What's not in the monthly fee?
Two things, each quoted before anything runs: a citation cleanup campaign if your audit turns up a mess ($350 standard), and out-of-scope work at $100 an hour in half-hour increments. You will never find either on an invoice you didn't approve.
-
What's the quarterly growth project?
Every quarter, one project from a set menu gets built for you: a new service or location page, a round of listings and link submissions, an educational content piece, a Google Business Profile deep refresh, or a conversion tune-up. I recommend the one your competitor snapshot says you need, and you can swap it. Included in the monthly fee.
-
Do you guarantee rankings?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. I sell the work: maintenance, consistency, and honest reporting. Good maintenance produces gradual improvement. That's the promise I can keep.
-
How fast is the build?
As fast as you are. The site moves at the speed you send me assets and turn around revisions. Responsive clients launch in a few weeks.
-
How fast do you respond?
Within two business days, usually sooner.
